Description: Cross-country skiing is the best in Western Canada, especially near Whistler and also Manning Park. My husband and I would go cross-country several times in the winter when we lived in North Vancouver. We had a winter wonderland right outside our door, and went for long walks as well on the many trails at the foot of Seymour Mountain.

Description: Winter always inspires me to watch the birds in and around Canada, although cardinals are usually found on the east side of Canada, I love to watch videos of them, and hope to capture their magnificent colours on canvas. They love the red berrries that hang on plants and various types of trees.
