I came across this woman in a beautiful ethnic dress during my visit to China. In this painting, I strive to depict the bright colours, delicate design and the sunlight reflected on her dress, head wear and umbrella.

Rocks in many shapes and forms can add to the designing of gardens. This garden is the Dr. Sun Yet-Sen Garden in Vancouver, I love looking at rocks with endless imaginations!
