Bobbie Hammersley

Artist Bio: Bobbie Hammersley found ceramics after a career in the environmental consulting field. Nature, particularly animals, often shows up in her ceramic work in a playful, colourful way. Bobbie has a preference for using handbuilding techniques or altered thrown techniques to create her ceramic vessels and sculptural pieces. When teaching, she tries to imbue the children with information that will inspire a deeper connection to the natural world.
